MainRoom Series 2 - Ramona

StreamGM’s clubbing series MainRoom is back with a bang - live & direct from one of Manchester’s coolest club nights ‘Do As You Please’ at Ramona.

Rising electronica club brand Do As You Please (DAYP) plays house, garage techno and disco ‘with substance and soul’ at regular jam packed takeover parties in Ramona MOT space.

The three hour live party kicks off season two of MainRoom on Saturday December 16th - live on www.streamgm.co.uk from 19.00 - with Do As You Please DJs: Shimrise, Blehrin and Joe Roche.

Shimrise at Parklife

Shimrise are an exciting, electronic DJ duo from Manchester made up of Yelena Lashimba and Latoya Reisner. The duo have been growing from strength to strength since their partnership, playing at Manchester’s iconic Parklife festival, Kendal Calling, and steadily entering the London music scene by delivering guest mixes for Foundation FM.

Inspired by the early noughties house music across afro, deep, tech and minimal house, the duo create an eclectic yet fruitful blend of high yet bouncy, rave and club energy in their sets. Receiving co-signs and support from emerging DJs - Vanessa Maria, Tarsza and SNO, it’s safe to say Shimrise will deliver a bouncing set for the MainRoom audience!

Joe Roche on the decks

Soulful, talented and driven – these are just a few of the words that spring to mind when talking about Joe Roche. The DJ/Producer & Founder of musical imprint Do As You Please is building a discography of limitless promise. Already one of the most beloved electronic music-heads in the city, whose ongoing work is seeing him develop as fully-fledged artistic force capable of transcending the genre.

The Manchester-based artist is building on his blossoming reputation as one of the city’s most promising talents around, having gained radio play on BBC Radio One by Jaguar, as well as recording a livestream for globally acclaimed festival We Out Here. The success of ‘The Inner Circle’ VA has been accompanied with over 100 gigs in half a year, including some standout sets that involved support Kerri Chandler, Dimitri From Paris, and Tristan Da Cunha.

Blehrin

Having held down a residency with Liverpool heavyweight ‘ENRG’ since the event began 6 years ago, Blehrin has been part of the northern DJ circuit for some time. Being the solo resident for this series of electronic experiences has seen him share the stage with some of the best artists in the world, including: Jon Hopkins, The Black Madonna, Peggy Gou, Floating Points, Tale of Us, Four Tet, Daniel Avery and Bicep.

This eclectic mix of bookings requires his record collection to be diverse and forward thinking - a collection that has been built up and influenced by a host of different genres including funk, jazz, electronica and hip hop.

Outside of his ENRG residency, over the years Blehrin has had the pleasure of playing at some of the most well respected venues around such as Mint Warehouse, Ministry of Sound, The Arches, Sankeys and The Button Factory. He has also graced the stages of festivals such as Mint Festival, Gottwood and Parklife.
